Elena Braida

Elena Braida is an Italian spatial practitioner based in Amsterdam with textile research and theory formation. She is currently investigating the spatial discourse between the notions of conviviality and publishing, the generational transfer of oral and written cultural heritage, and their domestic and public domains.

In 2020 she opened her textile design & research studio under the name of STUDIO BONOMIA and started co-curating the digital platform dedicated to the investigation of podcast called Publishing Station. Frequently working as a cook and writing about cooking methodologies.

For bis bis, Elena designed a special gnocchi workshop: Cucina, è bello! (Cook, it's beautiful) - gnocchi making and sharing. Join it on Friday 17th of November.
